Ergonomic stainless steel potato masher

This potato masher combines an angled cylindrical handle with a perforated head to mash cooked vegetables in a pot or mixing bowl. Its one-piece stainless steel construction and three available sizes allow you to choose the right utensil for the quantity you are preparing.

The available sizes are 23.6 × 8 cm, 25.5 × 10 cm, and 26.5 × 8.7 cm.

An angled handle for vertical pressure

The angled shape supports a vertical movement when the head is placed on the cooked vegetables. Place your palm on the handle and press gradually, without forcing or using the utensil on hard or uncooked food.

The three sizes allow the utensil to be adapted to the container.

Choosing the right size

• 23.6 × 8 cm: suitable for small quantities and small containers.
• 25.5 × 10 cm: wider mashing surface for larger preparations.
• 26.5 × 8.7 cm: intermediate size for medium-sized pots and bowls.

Check the dimensions of your container before use and choose a head that can be placed flat inside it.

Preparing homemade mash

1. Cook the vegetables until tender, then drain them.
2. Place the perforated head flat on the vegetables in the pot or bowl.
3. Press gradually and sweep across the surface of the container to achieve the desired texture.
4. Add butter, milk, cream, or seasoning according to your recipe.

This potato masher can also be used with potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, parsnips, celeriac, avocados, or other foods that are sufficiently tender after cooking or appropriate preparation.

The perforated head helps work the texture of the preparation.

Cleaning and storage

Rinse the potato masher after use to prevent residue from drying in the perforations. Clean it with water and dish soap, then dry it completely before storing. Only place it in the dishwasher if the instructions or packaging confirm that it is dishwasher safe.
