Two sides, simpler organization

The double-sided design allows you to alternate surfaces during preparation. For hygienic use, if possible, assign one side to ready-to-eat foods and the other to foods that require cooking, and clean each side between tasks. Flipping the board does not replace washing when moving between different food groups.

The slightly raised edges can help contain minor spills on the countertop. They do not necessarily retain all liquids: quickly wipe up any overflows and use a container for very wet preparations.

Cleaning and maintenance

After each use, wash both sides with water, dish soap, and a soft sponge. Rinse and dry the board thoroughly before storing it. Pay special attention to the edges and areas that have been in contact with raw foods.

Avoid using metal sponges, abrasive products, and prolonged soaking. Check the manufacturer's instructions before placing it in the dishwasher or exposing it to high temperatures. Rinsing alone is not always enough to remove residue: clean the surface after each use.

Use an appropriate knife and work on a stable surface. Replace the board if it becomes heavily scored, deformed, or difficult to clean.
