Peeling and preparing methodically

Place the food on a stable cutting board and slide the peeler in the intended direction with steady motions. Adjust the pressure according to the shape, size, and firmness of the fruit or vegetable. Results may vary depending on the food and the cutting area used.

The serrated or grater zone is not necessarily suitable for all ingredients. Use each function only for its intended purpose and avoid food that is too hard if not mentioned in the instructions.

Handling and safety

Hold the peeler by its handle and keep your fingers away from the blade and serrated areas. Never point the blade toward your hand. For small items, use a cutting board or a holding accessory rather than holding them near the cutting area.

Do not test the sharpness with your finger and do not leave the utensil in the sink. This is a sharp tool: keep it out of reach of children and do not lend it without explaining how it works.

Cleaning and storage

After use, remove any residue and clean the utensil according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Dry the blade, serrated areas, and handle thoroughly before storing. Avoid abrasive products and check the instructions to see if it is dishwasher safe.

Regularly check the condition of the blades and the handle. Do not use the peeler if any part is cracked, loose, deformed, or corroded. Store it in a drawer or compartment where the blade cannot snag other objects.
