Easy to hold

The handle helps hold the sharpener steady while the blade passes through. Set up on a clean, dry, and stable work surface, and ensure the tool does not move before starting. The handle does not replace proper posture or the precautions required when using an abrasive surface.

Use the sharpener only with compatible blades and, whenever possible, follow the knife manufacturer's recommendations. The angle, pressure, and number of passes will influence the result.

Instructions for use

Hold the sharpener firmly and keep your fingers away from the sharpening area. Pass the blade through in the direction intended by the manufacturer, using slow and steady movements without excessive pressure. Start with a few passes, then gradually check the condition of the edge.

Never test the sharpness with your finger. A maintenance sharpener will not repair a cracked, heavily deformed, or damaged blade. For serrated, ceramic, or specialized profile knives, verify compatibility before use.

A practical format for storage

After use, remove any residue with a dry cloth or as instructed by the manufacturer. Wipe and dry the tool before storing it in a dry place. For transport, place it in a pouch or compartment where the abrasive surface cannot damage other items.

Keep the sharpener out of the reach of children and do not use it if the handle or sharpening surface is damaged.
