Features a dual-bevel system

The model features a tungsten steel sharpening area and a dual-bevel design. This geometry is not necessarily suitable for all blades: check the profile and the knife manufacturer's recommendations before use.

The integrated guard keeps fingers away from the abrasive area during handling, but it does not replace the need to hold the tool correctly or work on a stable, clear surface.

Instructions for use

Hold the sharpener firmly and keep your fingers away from the sharpening area. Pass the blade through in the intended direction using slow, steady movements without excessive pressure. Start with a few passes and gradually check the results.

The angle, pressure, number of passes, and initial condition of the blade influence the sharpening. Never test sharpness with your finger. For serrated knives, ceramic blades, fillet knives, or special profiles, check compatibility before use.

Storage, cleaning, and limitations

After use, remove any residue with a dry cloth or according to the manufacturer's instructions. Wipe the sharpener clean and store it in a dry place, with its guard in place if provided. Keep the tool out of reach of children and do not use it if the abrasive area or guard is damaged.

A maintenance sharpener cannot repair a cracked or severely deformed blade, or one with structural defects. For a heavily damaged blade or an unusual profile, consult a professional sharpener.
