The suction cup is designed to hold the sharpener on a surface that is clean, smooth, dry, and sufficiently flat. Before each use, verify that the adhesion is effective and that the device does not move. Do not use the suction cup on a dusty, damp, porous, or uneven surface.
The activation handle is used to set and then release the suction cup. It does not replace stability checks: stop using it immediately if the sharpener shifts.
The model features a 20° sharpening angle. Use it only with compatible blades and follow the knife manufacturer's recommendations. The angle, pressure, and number of passes influence the result.
Do not force the blade into the sharpener. Use steady passes in the intended direction, keeping your fingers away from the abrasive area. Never test the sharpness with your finger.
This type of sharpener is suitable for kitchen knives compatible with its system. It is not intended for ceramic blades. For serrated knives, special profiles, or severely damaged blades, check the instructions or seek advice from a professional sharpener.
Regular sharpening does not repair a cracked, deformed, or structurally defective blade. Keep the tool out of the reach of children and do not use it if the suction cup or abrasive surface is damaged.
After use, remove any residue according to the manufacturer's instructions, then dry the sharpener and the mounting surface. Release the suction cup without pulling abruptly on the device and store it in a dry place. Clean and dry the knife before storing it.
